Grade bands served: Kindergarten through Grade 12
Visual Arts develops observation, craftsmanship and creative confidence, and increasingly connects to digital design and communication. Learners draw, paint, model and craft with local materials, study Liberian and African art traditions, and progress into graphic design, layout, typography, photography and digital illustration. Design is taught as problem solving for an audience, which links directly to entrepreneurship and media work.
Design skills create income through printing, branding, signage, textiles and digital freelancing, and creative confidence supports learning across subjects.
Mark making, colour, shape, cutting and pasting, modelling with clay and free creative expression.

Perspective, composition, printmaking, photography basics, and digital graphic design for real messages.
Portfolio development, advanced digital design, branding, typography, illustration and exhibition preparation.
Learners use free digital design tools and study generative image tools honestly — including attribution, originality and the limits of AI-made work.
