Grade bands served: Kindergarten through Grade 12

This subject combines personal online safety, digital ethics and the technical foundations of cybersecurity. Younger learners study safe use, kindness online and asking an adult for help. Middle-school learners study passwords, phishing, scams, privacy settings, digital footprint and cyberbullying. High-school learners study threat models, authentication, encryption concepts, social engineering, mobile-money fraud patterns common in West Africa, and organisational security practice — always framed as defence, never as attack.

Why this subject matters

Mobile money fraud, account theft and misinformation cause real financial and social harm in Liberia. Security awareness protects families, employers and institutions.
